Weekend Courses, Trips and Events

Courses open to the public

All our courses are open to the public. “Learn to Paddle” courses are especially geared towards beginners and those wanting to join the club. Other courses require some previous experience, either just a little (so we know you are ok to go on an easy journey) or a bit more for; sea, surf and river sessions for example. Pre-requisites (if any!) are listed in the course information above. If you want help choosing the right course for you, give Harry a call on the number below.

Non-members can paddle with the club up to four times before membership is required (for insurance purposes). For beginners on one of our “Learn to Paddle” courses, discounted membership is included in the course price. For those with previous paddling experience wanting to join in on other activities on a regular basis, please email paulharrington@ernepaddler.org.uk for membership info and prices.

Courses to order

If you don’t see something that suits your needs in our programme, whether you are a member or a non-member, looking to try paddling for the first time, wanting a one-off fun session for a group, or you are aiming to build the necessary skills and experience to go paddling with a group of friends, we can plan the right session, lessons or course for you. We are happy to help :) Just get in touch using the details below.

Sessions for Groups

Please keep an eye out for our upcoming courses which will be promoted soon, open to the public, for schools, youth groups, women’s groups, inclusive sessions and more. If you are part of a school or group (birthday parties, etc)and would like to take part in paddling sessions with your friends, please get in touch at the details below.
